Golf Lessons for Kids:
Safe, Motivating, and Full of Fun
SPGA junior academy is a great way for all children to learn and play golf, our juniors progress and develop through a series of lessons, which cover all aspects of the game in a learning environment that is safe, motivating and fun for the children. Our juniors will learn the basic swing techniques, the short game and even the rules and etiquette of golf so they are more confident in their surroundings at the golf club.
All of our SPGA coaching team are fully DBS/SPC certified and are there to motivate and help make learning to play golf fun for your child.
The structure of our junior coaching programme is set at 2 key stages:
Tigers (5-11yrs) – This is our starter level, in which is fun based learning, through golfing skills and fun based games.
Advanced – When the children become more confident in their technique and overall ability, they will move up to an advanced level, which is still fun based, however will focus in more detail to help improve their development and get them more ready to play on the golf course.
Here at SPGA we have coaches that care, lessons that are fun and events that create new friendships.
Tigers starter sessions begin from just £37 a month and run after school and weekends.
Tiny Tigers
Our Tiny Tigers coaching groups are a fun way for the children to learn golf, the lessons are run in a friendly, and safe group environment, using fun based, rewarding golf games. Our SPGA Professionals are there to motivate and make learning to play golf fun for all the children. Cost is from £37 a month and all the equipment is provided.
Advanced
The Advanced group section is aimed at getting the children a little more confident in their overall swing technique, learning about the basic Rules & Etiquette of the game and to help get them out onto the golf course a little more often, through some on course sessions during the summer terms. Our coaches will decide when the children are ready to be in our advanced groups.
